Are you really serious about making money through blogging?
Guess what, I do make money with blogs.
So, if you really want to start blogging, this post is really for you.
First of all, I like to shift your paradigme (view) on blogging.
When I ask some colleagues to blog, they were saying " I don’t know". Then I ask them why. They said we don’t have any knowledge about internet marketing.
Uhuh; then I realize. For some people, they just thinking that, to blog, you have to blog about internet marketing stuff. That is totally wrong.
It is called niche. Niche some kind of specific topic – not too general and not toooooooooo detail. Here an example. You like to blog about car. There are so many car. We can categorize it by its usage – sport car, sedan, etc, or categorized by its brand- Mistubishi, Toyota etc. But if you go too detail, you will have low targeted audience which is not good.
Ok, here what you should do before blogging.
Really-really important.
Decide your topic
Don’t make mistake choose a wrong topic.
Have you ever ask yourself, "What should I write about?"
Of course you do. But, the answer will tell you where is your destiny is. If you choose wrong topic, it will be a waste of many thing
- your time
- money (hosting and etc)
- effort
- idea
Don’ write because :
- you write about something because you see many people make a lt of bucks
- the topic you the only one who passionate about it
- you are blogging about the topic you have little knowledge on it
- you are writing about so many things which distract your focus and even your visitors’
I don’t have idea what to blog
If you dont have one, then do this :
- take a sheet of paper and a pen
- jot down your hobby and thing you passionate about
- do some research on the topic. Make sure it is not too general and not too spesific
Traffic is money
Yes it is true that traffic is money. But don’t make it border you a lot. Keep posting consistently.
If within three months, your blog do not make any money, just sell it. If it does, keep it. 
Then . . .
So how about that? Will you start blogging? Remember, make a draft on what your blog will look alike. Plan something on it.
