How to get blog’s idea ?

Yesterday, I went to Kinokuniya bookstore at KLCC. What a hectic day.

So many book. I went from section to another section. Looking for interesting book. Actually, I didn’t look for any book. It was just my new hobby to visit any nearby bookstore.

When I was at bookstore, what I looked, was not the book’s  title only. I also looking for its cover design and how the presentation being made. It gave me new idea on how do I blog.

A second before I went out from the bookstore, ideas triggered. I was looking for one specific book. I wen from category to another category and, bump…the idea came in.

It happen when I suddenly got the answer for one of the question emailed to me.

"Where to get the blog’s idea ?"

One of the answer is, BOOKSTORE. Yes it is. If you don’t have idea on what o blog. Why don’t you go to the nearby bookstore?

How its work? If you really don’t have the idea, why don’t you use categories as your niche. I mean, most of the bookstore out there, categorize the books into their categories. As example, War & History. You can write a blog talking about history, war or even both of it.

What to write?

Don’t worry. Write about the book you found on that categories. You can write the summaries or even a preview on what is written on the book.

Get the idea?

Nah, I hope your  "What to blog" problem will be solve with this idea.

Go Shopping To Get Blogging Idea

Last weekend, I ran a small seminar about internet marketing. Actually it is not really a seminar, better to call it personal coaching.

It took about 2 hours talking about how to make your first dollar onine.

The seminar was held at Jaya Jusco (one of famous Super Market in Malaysia), near to my parents in law’s house – Kepong.

After 2 hours of chit chatting, I went for window shopping around the store. Awesome.

It inspired me to write this post. Lucky for me, I also bring my $35 digital camera with me.

As the title mention, go shopping to get blogging idea. 

How?

When blogging, I rather suggest you to write a niche blog than a general blog. Why? Because you will have quality traffic. Have a conversion rate more than you write for general blog.

I will write about that later on. 

But, how you can get idea from shopping? Before I answer you, here are some pictures taken on that day.

You can write a review on new shoes everyweek. Just go to the shoes store, and click a few picture then it is done. Write also its price, features etc.

 

This is the latest perfume at this store. A lot of choices, you can write how the perfume smell etc.

Very niche store. This store actually has full of socks. You can wrte about the latest design at that shop.

There arre so many ideas out there at the shopping mall. It is also a good way to find your niche.

Anyway, happy blogging and there is no way "i have no idea what to blog" excuse.

Keep writing and writing and then the traffic will pull in to your blog.

PPC Advertising Networks

 Google AdSense is the most popular option under this category, but there are also others. Basically you need to sign up with the network and paste some code snippets on your website. The network will then serve contextual ads (either text or images) relevant to your website, and you will earn a certain amount of money for every click.

 

The profitability of PPC advertising depends on the general traffic levels of the website and, most importantly, on the click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC).

 

The CTR depends on the design of the website. Ads placed above the fold or blended with content, for instance, tend to get higher CTRs.

 

The CPC, on the other hand, depends on the nice of the website. Cancer, real estate and college education are examples of profitable niches (clicks worth a couple of dollars are not rare), while tech-related topics tend to receive a smaller CPC (sometimes as low as a couple of cents per click).

 

The source of the traffic can also affect the overall CTR rate.
Organic traffic (the one that comes from search engines) tends to perform well because these visitors were already looking for something, and they tend to click on ads more often.
Social media traffic, on the other hand, presents terribly low CTRs because these visitors are tech savvy and they just ignore ads.

Idea Bisnes : Apa barang berniaga di K.L

Salam hormat,

Hari tu kita dah buat hot dog. Lepas buat hot dog, dah kaya kita melancong pula ke Adelaide.
Huhu.
Tapi, kita tak puas hati dengan apa yang kita dapat.
Owh ya, sebut tentang puas hati, Islam tidak melarang ummatnya membuat sesuatu bersungguh-sungguh. Bahkan ada sebuah hadis di riwayatkan dari Isteri Rasulullah, Saidatina Aisyah R.A, yang mana mafhum hadisnya berbunyi, “orang beriman itu, apabila melakukan sesuatu, ia melakukan secara bersungguh-sungguh”.

Jadi, tidak perlu timbul, kita kena cukup-cukup (qan’ah) dalam hidup. Baik, saya tak nak kupas isu ni (sekurang-kurangnya buat masa ni).

Ini adalah idea sahaja. Jika bertanya kepada saya, “…hang dah cuba ka?”. Jawapan dia, TAK.
Begini sebenarnya, pernah tak anda beli nasi lemak berharga RM1 ?
Pernah tak beli air berharga RM1 ? Adakah anda bising-bising ” mahal seh~”, selepas membuat pembayaran? Jarang bukan? Kalau ada pun, mla-mula je.
Tapi apa kata, kalau barang-barang di atas, anda dapatkan di K.L ? Sudah tentu anda kata ia murah.

Ini idea saya, jual lah apa sahaja di K.L pada harga RM1. Saya cadangkan, makanan. Sebab semua orang makan dan minum. DI bawah secebis idea yang saya dapat ketika berjalan-jalan di K.L

1.  Jual karipap, 3 – RM1. Tak perlu buat besar-besar.
2. Jual kuih, 3 – RM1. Tak perlu buat besar-besar. (hehe, saya asingkan karipap dengan kuih sebab saya suka makan karipap)
3. Jual nasi lemak, telur takde, timun je, Sambal sikit tapi manis2 pedas (pergh, ma favaourite )
4. Jual air, guna plastik. Kalau pakai cawan plastik (kos). Jangan guna air paip ( saya benci orang menipu )
5. Jual fishball, sotong ball, ketam ball dan macam-macam ball lagi. Satu lidi, ada 3 biji. Ops, ini tips maut, bebola-bebola tu potong 2 tau. kiranya, 1 lidi sebenarnya ada 1 setengah bebola lah.
6. Keropok lekor
7. semua jenis makanan akan laku di K.L ni.

Macam mana? Ok tak? Owh ya. Kalau anda risau dengan lesen, jgn risau sangat. Sebab bila risau sangat, satu benda pun tak buat.
Anda jual/jaja sahaja di K.L tu. (cuba tengok orang Indonesia, mereka rilex je), kalau kena rush, cuba lari selaju yang munkin tanpa meninggalkan barang-barang jualan anda. Kalau tak mampu, takpe, PASRAH.
Sebab apa? Apabila anda ditangkap, anda akan di saman. Bila disaman, anda akan diberi tahu, kepada siapa kita perlu bayar saman tu. Biasanya, tukang kutip saman, adalah mereka yang bertanggungjawab memberi lesen kepada penjaja.

Bagaimana? Dapat idea kasar (rough idea). Jadi kreativ, kembangkan dan olahkan idea saya di atas menjadi sebuah idea anda yang unik.
